Finding Your Photographic Style

If you enjoy nature photography, have you evolved your own creative style? That’s a question Expedition Leader and seasoned outdoor photographer Annie Van Dinther takes up in this webinar. Perusing photos from her long guiding career gives Annie pause to reflect on an important question for any dedicated photographer: What is my style? Do I have one? What makes my photos distinctive? Annie shares a selection of her favorite personal photos, which include iconic wildlife species, spectacular landscapes, and more bears than she can count. She ponders what makes them “work” – why these photos stand out, why they rise to the top among the tens of thousands she has taken. This won’t be a technical talk as much as a journey via images through Annie’s years of naturalist guiding—and a chance to consider your own style as a photographer.
