Yellowstone Winter Wolves & Wildlife: What to Know

Thu, Dec 1, 2022
LIVE  at 3:00 PM ET / 2:00 PM CT / 1:00 PM MT / 12:00 PM PT

If you’ve been considering a trip to Yellowstone National Park during the winter months, this webinar is for you. Today, we’ll hear from Corbin Hawkins, Nat Hab’s U.S. National Parks Regional Coordinator in Bozeman, Montana, and Drew McCarthy, a Nat Hab Expedition Leader, about everything you need to know before visiting Yellowstone during the coldest (and least crowded) part of the year. From how to dress for warmth, what wildlife we may see (wolves! elk!), the tricks to taking great photographs through spotting scopes, our accommodations, the physical requirements of the trips, and more, Corbin and Drew will make sure you have all the details you need to get the most out of our Winter Yellowstone trip. They’ll review what gear Nat Hab provides, what activities you can look forward to (snowshoeing and a horse-drawn sleigh ride among them), and how we’ll get around when much of the park is closed to vehicles. Corbin and Drew will call on their many years of guiding trips in Yellowstone National Park to ensure that you have the best winter wildlife viewing experience possible.
