Frosted Fur and Feet: The Fabulous Arctic Fox

Mon, Mar 27, 2023
LIVE  at 3:00 PM ET / 2:00 PM CT / 1:00 PM MT / 12:00 PM PT

Foxes can be found around the world, filling the roles of predator, scavenger, and in many myths and stories, trickster. Their intelligence and creativity—whether in raiding a chicken coop or stealing your moccasins (true story!)—have captured our imaginations and earned them our somewhat begrudging respect. It’s that adaptability in both behavior and physiology that makes foxes, particularly Arctic foxes, so successful. Join Expedition Leader Kristina Disney as she delves into the natural and cultural history of Arctic foxes to explore the world as they do. You’ll also learn how humans, like foxes, adapt to our environments, as well as why it’s vital that we take accountability for how we change our environments to suit us.
