LIVE at 3:00 PM ET / 2:00 PM CT / 1:00 PM MT / 12:00 PM PT

Presented by Marcus Oliveira & Dr. Silvia Pavan

Get a first-hand account of a recent scientific expedition to the eastern Andes of Peru -- a biodiversity hotspot that’s still one of the least-studied areas in South America due to its remote location. Expedition Leader Marcus Oliveira and special guest Silvia Pavan, the assistant professor in the Biological Sciences department at Cal Poly Humboldt who led the expedition to Parque Nacional del Rio Abiseo, share the results of the trip, including the numerous new species of small mammals (primarily rodents and marsupials) the team identified!
