Spring in India brings a host of seasonal changes, as budding leaves and blooming flowers transform the landscape. The weather is mild, and birds abound with the start of breeding season, making it an appealing time to visit. Expedition Leader Arpita Dutta shares stories and photos from her first Grand India Wildlife Adventure of the spring season, where her group of 15 travelers—all women—enjoyed phenomenal wildlife viewing, including tigers, elephants, rhinos, primates, myriad bird species such as serpent eagles and Indian rollers, and even an encounter with a sloth bear.
