Fri, Jul 12, 2024
LIVE at 3:00 PM ET / 2:00 PM CT / 1:00 PM MT / 12:00 PM PT

Presented by Aaron Bott

You’ve likely heard the phrase “lone wolf” used to describe someone with a strong individualist streak. But while individual wolves sometimes temporarily strike out on their own, the majority live in family groups called packs -- a trait they share with us! Expedition Leader and wolf biologist Aaron Bott breaks down the complex social behaviors of wolves, including their family dynamics, maturation, reproduction and pup rearing. Find out what it means that wolves are considered a cooperative breeding species, and learn the life history of some of Yellowstone’s famous wolves.
