Presented by Dan Flores & Brooke Mitchell
Mammoths, horses, wolves and bison are part of a North American story that stretches across deep time—a story that the arrival of humans profoundly altered. In Wild New World, historian and author Dan Flores traces the intertwined history of people and wildlife, from ancient extinctions through centuries of animal exploitation to the rise of modern conservation. Host Brooke Mitchell talks with Flores about what this long history reveals about humanity’s impact on other species and how the choices we make today may shape the future of wildlife.
